Activity:

• Guide preschoolers in creating a personalized Kindness Jar.
• Enhance fine motor skills while spreading kindness through written messages.
• Promote values of sharing and caring.

Tools Needed: Colored paper, scissors, glue or tape, markers or crayons
Page Size: 8.5″x 11″ (Letter Size)

User Instructions:

• Gather all materials needed for the craft.
• Optionally color or decorate the jar and heart clipart.
• Carefully cut out the jar and hearts.
• Write kind messages on the blank hearts.
• Fold a paper sheet in half and attach the jar clipart at the bottom.
• Add the “#VALENTIME to be Kind” message above the jar.
• Create a pocket by folding the paper.
• Place prewritten and blank hearts in the pocket.
• Display the Kindness Jar in a special spot.
• Encourage picking a heart each day to share kindness with others.
