Activity:
- Handwriting: Trace and practice writing uppercase and lowercase letters
- Letter Recognition: Cut out and sort letters into uppercase and lowercase categories
- Gluing: Glue sorted letters onto the worksheet
- Coloring: Use crayons or coloring pencils for added vibrancy
Tools Needed: Pencil, scissors, glue, crayons or coloring pencils
Page Size: 8.5″x11″ (Letter Size)
User Instructions:
- Start with the letter “A.” Trace the large “A” at the top of the page with a pencil.
- Optionally, practice “A” with rainbow writing for additional tracing practice.
- Cut apart the “A” letters provided at the bottom of the page.
- Sort the letters into the “Uppercase” and “Lowercase” sections based on their case.
- Use different crayons to color the uppercase and lowercase letters before cutting them out, if just starting.
- Once sorted, glue the letters into the appropriate squares on the worksheet.
- Color the squares that correspond to matching uppercase and lowercase letters using different colored crayons.
- Repeat these steps for each letter from A to Z.
- Take your time to ensure accuracy and neatness in tracing, cutting, sorting, gluing, and coloring.
- Enjoy the process of learning and improving letter recognition and sorting skills.
