User Instructions:

  • Print the Worksheet: Print out the provided worksheet.
  • Prepare Coloring Materials: Provide your child with crayons or colored pencils.
  • Start with the First Letter: Begin with the first letter at the top of the page.
  • Examine Pictures: Together with your child, examine the pictures and say their names.
  • Identify Sounds: Practice identifying the beginning sound of each word and say it aloud.
  • Color the Pictures: Encourage your child to find and color the picture that matches the beginning sound.
  • Match Letters to Pictures: Have your child draw a line connecting each letter to a picture that starts with that letter.
  • Trace and Write Letters: Guide your child to trace the letters provided on the worksheet. Then, encourage them to write the letters on their own in the space provided.
  • Identify Beginning Sounds: Ask your child to point out objects around the house or classroom that start with the letter they are working on.
  • Continue for Each Letter: Repeat this process for each letter of the alphabet.
