- Identify Missing Beginning Sounds: Open the booklet to the first page. Look at the pictures and identify the CVC words where the initial sounds are missing.
- Find Matching Metal Letters: Locate the metal letters that correspond to the beginning sounds of the CVC words identified in step 2.
- Complete the Words: Place the metal letters beneath the pictures to fill in and complete the CVC words.
- Repeat for Each Word: Proceed to the second CVC word on the page and repeat steps 2-4, ensuring all missing sounds are identified and filled in.
