Title: St. Patrick’s Day Craft for Kids
Suitable For: Teachers, parents, kindergarten, and elementary students
Purpose: To encourage reflection and gratitude in students through a creative St. Patrick’s Day craft, ideal for classroom displays, bulletin boards, or as a keepsake.

Activity:

  • St. Patrick’s Day “I am Lucky” Clover Craftivist
  • Coloring and personalizing the central clover
  • Writing and sharing personal reflections on what makes them feel lucky
  • Cutting and assembling the clover craft
  • Creating interactive flaps for the clover leaves

Tools Needed: Crayons or colored pencils, scissors, and glue
Page Size: 8.5″x 11″ (Letter Size)

User Instructions:

  • Coloring: Students begin by coloring the central clover and its leaves in any way they like.
  • Reflection: Encourage them to think about and write down four things that make them feel lucky on the individual leaves of the clover.
  • Cutting: Once they’ve colored and written their “lucky” thoughts, guide students to carefully cut out the entire clover along with the four separate leaves.
  • Assembly: The next step is to have students glue the four separate leaves onto the full clover, creating flaps that can be opened.
  • Sharing: Each flap will reveal one of the “lucky” things that they’ve written. Encourage students to share their reflections with the class or in small groups.
  • Display: Create a bulletin board or classroom display featuring all the students’ completed clovers, highlighting the diverse things that make them feel lucky.
